Artsy Fartsy

Hey everybody! Hope all is well in your land. Our raspberry world has been fantastic and continues to keep us excited and busy. We are officially having our first art/photography show October 3rd at 7:00pm for anyone in the Lewisville area. There will be plenty of food, wine, fun, and oh yeah, lots of cool stuff to adorn your walls at home! To tell you a little about the theme for the show won't take long because there is no theme. Now, a themeless art show may be a sin in the art world, but luckily neither Jess nor I live in that world, so we are ok. We live in the world, "ecclectic reality". This is the land where vintage meets modern, who also meets a little country, so really this land is the melting pot if you will. We feel we have something for everybody, and if we don't have it then we will work on getting it for you. We hope if you are in the area, you will stop by and see us. We would love to have you there.
Go to our store, here

Here are a few for fun!

Jake and Josh

We had a great time shooting Jake and Josh's senior portraits. They have so much energy which is fun to photograph! We especially loved the karate pictures at the end of the shoot.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE doing maternity shoots because of this. Kristy was no exception! Check out this BEAUTIFUL family! Wow, Jeff you have one gorgeous wife and good luck with the boys with that little girl!!!! Thanks guys for allowing us to come to your home (which, side note, could be a model home it was so awesome) and capturing this special time! Hope you enjoy your pics!!!!

Shawna and Mason

We had such a great time doing this photo shoot with our friends, Shawna and Mason. They are such a fun couple! We had a few minor glitches in the beginning, including lots of rain and darkness which equals (NOT GOOD) for photography. However, we had such a great couple to work with who improvised with us and ran with it. We ended up with good weather and some great clouds which always makes for a great background. So, to sum it up, we laughed alot and had a blast!!! Thanks guys for the fun time!

Wet n' Wild!

Near our parent's house there is a shopping center with a fountain area for kids.  We decided to take Jackson up there to run around since he LOVES water.  He will play in any water really, in the bathtub, swimming pool, with the hose, in a mud puddle, and ... in fountains.

Check out Nicole's blog at nicoleandjoey.blogspot.com for more fountain pictures!

Huggies

So, last weekend I grabbed my camera and decided to take a few pictures of my cute sister and her sweet family.  Jackson was hammin' it up for the camera and decided to give his momma one of  his priceless "huggies" that are so desired within our family (they will literally melt your heart!).  I am so thankful God brought them closer because now I get to be a part of these precious little moments.

The Beautiful Kim

We had the great pleasure of working with Kim, an obviously beautiful young lady this past thursday. She was such a joy to shoot because she was so natural in front of the camera. We really didn't have to do anything to get these great pics, she is just that pretty!

Doesn't she look like Katie Holmes here! So pretty!

By now most of you know that the amazing... the wonderful... the creative Jonathan Williams will be a published writer soon (this Thanksgiving to be exact)! We are so proud of him and can't wait for all of you to read his first literary masterpiece Jungle Sunrise. After all the countless hours imagining, writing, editing, and praying for this book the time has come for the author and his agent and publisher to discuss endorsements for the book, book signings, book tours, possible movie deals, and the all important author picture for the book (which is where we come in). We had the privilege of taking the photo for his book and here are some of the finalists...
